Airbnb worked with historians and designers in Beijing to turn one of the landmark's ancient watch towers into a unique crash pad, complete with a master bedroom and bathroom. Images of the one-of-a-kind room show it decked out with luxury furnishings - including a four-poster bed and elegant dining table - and its open-air design allows guests to stare up at the starry night sky.
To enter, participants must write on the Great Wall Airbnb listing page why it is 'more important now than ever to break down barriers between cultures' and 'how you want to build new connections'. Entries must be submitted by 11:59pm (Beijing time zone/GMT+8) on August 11.
